One month after being awarded three-star accreditation by Best Companies, our parent company, Hydrogen Group, has been ranked 15th in this year’s Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For. This accolade follows hot on the heels of Hydrogen also being named Britain’s Number 1 Employer 2007 by The Guardian.

The results of The Sunday Times survey help to explain how we have been able to score this hat trick of prestigious employer awards. 84% of respondents said they are proud to work for the company, over 91% said senior managers truly “live the values” of the organisation, 86% said managers communicate openly and honestly, and 77% feel the training they receive benefits them personally.

Hydrogen was also singled out for the creation of its limitless career path and received a special award for ‘Best for training and development’, sponsored by the Chartered Management Institute. This achievement echoes the findings of The Guardian who ranked Hydrogen’s training and development more highly than any other company featured in their ‘Britain’s Top Employers 2007’ guide.

Other key results from the Sunday Times 100 Companies to Work For survey include:

• 86% of staff said teams are fun to work in
• 85% of staff feel they make a valuable contribution to the company
• 81% feel their managers help them to fulfil their potential
• 84% believe the Hydrogen experience is valuable for the future, and
• Overall 85% gave the company a positive score for personal growth
